Duboce Triangle

Found at the confluence of the Castro, Mission Dolores, and the Lower Haight, Duboce Triangle feels cradled in the city’s embrace. It’s a pocket of peacefulness right amidst a flow of urban energy. At the neighborhood’s center, Duboce Park offers a playground, picnic grounds, and ample space for dogs to get their run on. It’s also here that all of the city’s streetcar lines split, so one can easily hop a ride downtown, to the beach, or out to nearly any corner of San Francisco.

If what you want is too many options of places to eat, or shop, or sing karaoke, Duboce Triangle may be your match. It’s a small neighborhood, but it’s within striking distance of everything from lush greenery to flashing neon. Housing here is old school San Francisco-style, split between single- and multi-family Victorians and Edwardians and modern condos and apartments. There are supermarkets, hardware stores, and everything else—except maybe easy street parking. If you want a home in Duboce triangle, make sure it comes with a designated parking space.
