Get to Know Me

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, John Curran worked in San Francisco’s interior design world. As a top designer and project manager at local firms such as Ken Fulk Design, John has overseen hundreds of interior design and staging installations for top-producing San Francisco agents, including the Droubi Team, who he has worked with since 2007. His expert design sensibilities continue to help their clients’ homes sell for record prices.
 
As a Generation Agent, John brings a wealth of talent to the team. Not only is he incredibly passionate about homes, but he has an in-depth knowledge of San Francisco’s neighborhoods that comes from staging all over the city. John’s background as a successful entrepreneur and business owner gives him the tenacity and tactful negotiation skills needed to succeed in the Bay Area’s dynamic market. He considers every client a friend and aims to be someone they can trust.
 
John holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. When not working, he volunteers as a teacher’s assistant at Creativity Explored, an organization in the Mission in service of developmentally disabled artists. He’s a dedicated Vipassana meditation practitioner, which he credits for bringing tranquility to his personality and business style. John speaks Danish and also studies French. He and his husband reside in Eureka Valley; they love to travel and spend time in France each summer.
